TUBE TYPE CONSTRUCTION A clincher tire that is only functional with an inner tube to maintain inflation pressure as defined by ISO 4223-1. The historically standard bicycle tire relies on the use of an inner tube to maintain inflation pressure. The inner tube serves two purposes: maintaining inflation pressure along with providing physical pressure on the tire’s bead against the rim hook and sidewall to help keep it safely in place. DYNAMIC:ULTRA HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPOUND A proprietary blend of synthetic and natural rubbers enhanced with Graphene and next generation amorphous spherical Silica; our all-new Dynamic:UHP compound has been developed with the single purpose of expanding the ‘Magic-Triangle’ with improved Rolling Efficiency, Traction and increased Durability R:SHIELD UNDER-TREAD BREAKER BELT This is a layer of additional puncture protection located under the tire’s tread cap. Odyssey's Air Supply tubes are specifically sized to fit modern BMX tires, and they are manufactured with a stronger emphasis on quality versus simply chasing the lowest possible price. On average, the Air Supply BMX tube retains air significantly longer than others currently available on the market. This is down to both the rubber that is used, and because of strict quality control during manufacturing. It is normal to assume that a “tube is a tube,” but a higher-quality tube will always last longer than a cheap tube during comparable everyday use.
